Liberty Missouri

Queridos hermanos y hermanas,

Right now I am just full of love and gratitude for my Father in Heaven. On Saturday we had transfers and I was scared that I would be going. But thankfully I am not quite yet. I do not want to go just yet because we are seeing so many miracles here in Los Heroes. When I was with my mom of the mission, Hermana Flores we found this family and we started teaching the daughter. Her name is Ricy Nataly. And she is super, super great. I think I might have already mentioned this to yall before, but yeah. She is super amazing! And we almost had her get dunked, but she ran into some challlenges with her self and her family. So we just gave her some space last week and we were praying super hard for her. We then called her on Saturday and she said that we could come and visit her and her family. So, we went to her house and talked to to her mom and dad. And taught The Restoration to her family. And her dad said that if we ask him to go to church this coming Sunday he will, he wasn´t able to go yesterday because of work but this coming Sunday SIII!! It was super, super cool!!

Hoy tuvimos cambios. Todavia me quede en Los Heroes, but that is just fine with me. With Nataly so close and with my companion I am learning so much right now! It is super great! I can't really beleive how fast the time has gone. It is already January. I have been in the mission for seis meses. Wow! The promise of Gordon B. Hinckley of forgetting yourself is so true. I was telling my family about this in Skype how when I forget about myself that the time just flies by. We have studies we proselite and we are already returing to the house.

I just would like to bear testimony that I know the church is true. I know htat the Book of Mormon is true and the voice of our Heavenly Father. I know that the Gift of tongues and interpretation of tongues are true gifts. I am experiencing this in my life right now.

I would like to share a story that I received from the Stake presidencey, or at least a part of it: It is a part of He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver story.

...Oh yes, madam, replied the silversmith, I must sit with eye steadily fivxed on the furnace, for is the time necessary for refining be exceeded in the slightes degree, the silver will be injured. aply this to yourself and jesus

con amor

Accepting the Will Of The Father... and Feliz Ano

Hola quirida familia,

This week was a trying week. I am not going to lie. It was a really great week too, but there was a lot of trials of my faith. The other day I was studying and I just read a lot of scriptures about accepting the will of the Father and that with that He will be able to work miracles. It was a big eye opener. :)

This week was super fast as well. On Monday we had trouble with our money funds and so we didn`t buy anything at Lider. Oh fyi, Lider here is Walmart in the states. We just wrote President and our families and then went home. We then did proselyting and one of the families in the ward knew that we didn`t have much money and so they did an amazing thing for us. They took us home and we didn't have any idea what they were going to do next. They went to the super market and bought us groceries. It was amazing. Heavenly Father was and is always looking out for us. I thought a lot about my Mom in this moment and how she would do the same for the missionaries. I remember one thing she told me kind of like this, I don't remember word for word. But she is willing to love the missionaries and help the missionaries not only because she wants to, but because too she worries about her children when they are on their missions and the people in the ward feeding us, and helping and caring for us. Mom, you are awesome and are always in my thoughts.

Our año nuevo was fantasticly fun missionary style. We had a rule that we needed to return to the house by 8 and so we did that, and planned and did the usual, but then after we danced. Hermana Buiza and I, and the other hermanas in the pension, hermana Martinez and Hermana Mittlesteadt. Hermana Mittlesteadt is of Idaho and so she, and I showed the others a country dance, the cotton eyed joe line dance. It was super fun. Then Hermana Buiza and Martinez showed some latina dances. We then ate icecream and cheesecake. It was fun! I have two minutes now! :(

But the thing is this:

Having an ability serves as nothing if the missionary does not use it. The great men have only readched the summeit by the strength that come from facing adversity!

I love you,
